I initially wrote this off as being too general and not particularly amusing when I first saw it on television; a friend of mine, who isn’t the most discerning viewer, absolutely loved it. It turns out she was correct to feel that way. The show possesses a great deal of warmth, almost never resorts to cruelty, and becomes increasingly hilarious with each new season. It's currently consuming my attention.

Netflix suggested this one because of a supposed strong alignment with my tastes. However, I thought the performances were exaggerated, the dialogue was painfully obvious, and every character seemed impossible to like. It wasn’t something I could manage to finish; I gave up after only one installment.
