Synopsis

A weariness had settled upon Johan regarding Paula, drawing him back to Marianne. They spoke of their present circumstances, a quiet accounting of days. Johan made a move, an unspoken invitation to intimacy, but found Marianne resistant. He lingered, hoping for the night to offer solace, yet sleep evaded him. Eventually, he rose and departed.
