Synopsis

In SAY "I LOVE YOU," Mei Tachibana avoids close friendships after past heartbreak, believing that trusting others only leads to pain. She keeps everyone at arm's length until Yamato Kurosawa enters her life. Popular, charming, and handsome, he disrupts Mei’s carefully guarded world by genuinely wanting to get to know her. Mei finds herself unexpectedly drawn to Yamato and even asks for his help with a problem. He responds with kindness, offering assistance without expecting anything in return. This awakens suppressed feelings in Mei and opens the door to vulnerability. However, as their relationship deepens, complications arise.
