Synopsis

The volunteers of the RNLI in Porthcawl fought against the tempestuous onslaught of Storm Brendan to reach a surfer caught in its relentless grip. Elsewhere, in Selsey, a family excursion for paddleboarding devolved into a desperate ordeal when a father lost sight of his young children, leaving them stranded on a sandbank shrinking with each surge of the tide.
