At 27, Arata Kaizaki is adrift. His post-graduate career has stalled, leaving him with mounting financial problems and feeling isolated from everyone. His parents threaten to withdraw their support if he doesn't improve his life. Desperate and alone, Arata finds an unexpected solution in Ryou Yoake and a peculiar program called ReLife. The project offers Arata a second chance at adolescence by administering a mysterious drug that turns him 18 again. As a high school student, he can rethink his future and explore new paths, all while participating in a government rehabilitation program designed to help people like him – those not in education, employment, or training – get back on track.
