01Season 1The glitz and glamour of 1938 Los Angeles hide a dark underbelly, exposed when a brutal murder pulls Detective Tiago Vega and his partner, Lewis Michener, into a sprawling case unlike any they’ve faced before. As they investigate, the city's vibrant history—the ambitious construction of its first freeways, the enduring strength of Mexican-American folklore, even the unsettling shadow of Nazi espionage and the burgeoning influence of radio preachers—becomes inextricably woven into their pursuit of justice.
