Synopsis

This heartfelt drama follows Damian, a 38-year-old restaurateur in Taiwan, and Jerry, his longtime partner. After returning to Taiwan after a divorce, they open Verso, a restaurant that becomes the foundation for their rekindled relationship. As Damian’s business thrives, they navigate the complexities of their love and decide to start a family via surrogacy. Four years later, they are proud parents to Kai, a lively four-year-old boy. While Damian effortlessly balances his successful restaurant and fatherhood, Jerry grapples with the pressures of new responsibilities, especially keeping his sexuality hidden from his conservative parents who still want him to marry a woman. The series beautifully portrays the loving moments between the couple and their son, while also exploring family dynamics and societal expectations.
