Synopsis

He lay in the hospital room, a landscape of weariness etched onto his face. The exhaustion was palpable, a heavy blanket draped over his form. His friends, Ricky and Dedé, visited, and the strain of the day seemed to settle upon Dedé, who nearly succumbed to sleep on a hallway couch, utterly drained.
