Synopsis

Jess attends a funeral, driven by a frantic need to erase an ill-advised message she’d sent to the man who has passed. Simultaneously, Schmidt's mother, Louise, descends upon them, insisting he finally compose thank-you notes for the presents received at his bar mitzvah, while Winston struggles to cultivate a genuine friendship with his police partner, Aly, beyond their professional obligations.
