The rain fell in sheets as Natsume encountered a young youkai girl. Her name was absent from the Book of Friends, yet she sought his aid nonetheless: she wished him to locate a man she had once encountered. He was blind to the world of youkai, but a fleeting anomaly in the weather granted him a single day of sight. For half a century afterward, she returned to him, clinging to the hope of another glimpse, but he never perceived her. Now, he is gone. Could Natsume find him for her?
