Synopsis

Ayuko found Mikoto’s hair a tangled mess and, with a practiced hand, reshaped it into something new. Almost immediately, Mikoto drew attention to her altered appearance, a fact that stirred a touch of envy in Akira. On their walk home, he persuaded her to revert to her former style, dutifully disarranging her hair as she requested. The following day, when Ayuko gently chided him for his handiwork, Mikoto offered her a glimpse of the strange pleasure she’d discovered in having her hair undone.
