Synopsis

"Mazinger Z" follows the story of Photon Power, a mysterious energy derived from Japanese ore that Dr. Hell seeks to use for global conquest. He commands monstrous Machine Beasts from Bardos Island, led by Baron Ashura and Count Brocken, to obtain this power. Kouji Kabuto, a determined teenager, pilots Mazinger Z – a powerful robot created by his grandfather Juzo from the incredibly strong metal Chogokin Z. As Kouji battles Dr. Hell in an epic showdown, the ancient legends of the Mycenaean Civilization and Bardos Island, along with the secrets of Mazinger Z's power, remain largely unknown.
