Among the Marvel series produced for Netflix, this one stands out as the least successful. Jessica Jones attempts to emulate a private investigator style program, relying too much on familiar tropes. While Kilgrave proves to be an engaging antagonist, he isn't enough to compensate for how underdeveloped Jessica Jones’s character is. I suggest watching any of the other Netflix Marvel programs instead; even the first season of Iron Fist offered more enjoyment.
