Synopsis

Vernon summoned Iris to the farm for an assessment of her skills, but the massive threshing machine unexpectedly flung her to the ground. Following this incident, Connie boldly proposed a challenge: a competition between the farmers and the land girls in ploughing. Meanwhile, Channing tried to comfort Joyce, suggesting that John required reassurance from her. Later, when Connie went to see Henry at church, she was taken aback to find Danny engaged in conversation with him.
