Thelma felt weary of the cynicism that had settled over her marriage to Enrique, of the monotonous rhythm of their days. A yearning for something more began to take root within her. Then, a daring plan formed in her mind: to take her husband's life and claim the insurance money, a sum that promised a life of freedom and pleasure.
