Synopsis

Randy Channell Soei earned the title "Soei" from his teachers, signifying his attainment of mastery in the Way of Tea. He is among the few foreigners authorized to teach the entirety of the tea ceremony, a delicate choreography of precise movements and mindful presence. Initially drawn to Japan to study martial arts, Channell later found himself captivated by the Way of Tea, the essence of Japanese hospitality. Now a devoted instructor, he imparts knowledge of tea culture to numerous students.
