Synopsis

James’s journey commences on the sun-drenched coast of Sicily, an island steeped in a history of millennia-long conflict. Here, where cultures intermingle beneath the watchful presence of Mount Etna, James discovers the enduring joys that have nourished communities for generations: the casual chipping at statues, the spirited game of Canoe Polo, and the plaintive wail of bagpipes.
