The avalanche left Jack stranded in helplessness, forced to witness the Department of Transportation's grim work clearing the debris. Elsewhere, Ray confronted the Daltons under the weight of a palpable sense of foreboding. And Hugh, ascending to 4,700 feet over Atigun Pass, deliberately drove on the wrong side of the road, courting disaster with every turn.
