Lucy entertained the notion of a country life and persuaded Ricky to secure a substantial deposit on a large house. He agreed, and a down payment was made on a property in Westport, Connecticut. However, the idyllic vision proved fleeting; Lucy soon reconsidered her desire for rural living. With Ethel and Fred in tow, she devised a plan, donning disguises in a desperate attempt to recover Ricky's deposit.
