Ricky's band is embarking on a European tour, a trip Lucy cannot join, a circumstance she intends to rectify. Her solution: a raffle for a television, the proceeds to benefit "Ladies Overseas Aid." "We're ladies," Lucy explains to Ethel, who is also plotting to attend. "And ladies want to go overseas. Besides, we certainly need to offer aid." The Pied Pipers begin to play the theme from Ball and Arnaz’s 1956 film, *Forever Darling*.
