Synopsis

The air crackled with the urgency of election season, and as a New Jersey senator’s campaign tightened into a fierce contest, a crisis struck. The campaign manager fell gravely ill, suffering liver failure and temporary paralysis. In the wake of this disruption, Cuddy urged House to expand his team with a new physician, bringing on the exceptionally bright third-year medical student, Martha Masters, to fill the void left by Thirteen’s absence.
