Laurie’s performance is outstanding. I just couldn't resist that joke. If you're looking for a thoroughly enjoyable experience watching a Vicodin-dependent character recklessly manipulate his patients’ lives and find yourself supporting him throughout, then this show will definitely appeal to you.

The series held my interest due to the main character, though I didn’t really follow what they were saying during the scenes involving medical issues. My suggestion would be not to view this program if you aren’t familiar with many medical terms.
