Synopsis

The children’s novelist attempted to end her own life, but a seizure intervened. Dr. House, a devoted reader of her work, had her placed on psychiatric hold. He now faced a patient determined to remain ill rather than accept treatment. Simultaneously, House wrestled with the unsettling feeling that his and Lisa Cuddy's lives were diverging, their paths no longer aligned.
