Synopsis

The roar of the engine was a familiar comfort to Delilah, but her mind drifted to a different kind of landscape: a solid brick ranch house nestled in the quiet countryside. It was a persistent daydream, a stark contrast to the asphalt world she inhabited as a Memphis drag racer. Her closest friend, however, viewed this aspiration with concern. She argued that such isolation would be stifling, urging Delilah instead to consider a new construction in the suburbs, a place where community thrived.
