Synopsis

In a languid haze of privilege, an idle nobleman conceived the sandwich. Meanwhile, the Romans staged culinary spectacles so dreadful they bordered on the grotesque. And the Bard himself, William Shakespeare, found his creative spirit shadowed by the spectral presence of King Richard III.
