Synopsis

Following Bender’s egregious disposal of Nibbler down the toilet, Professor Farnsworth implants an empathy chip within the robot. The procedure awakens a disconcerting awareness of emotion in Bender, and the usually self-serving automaton finds himself compelled to act. Driven by a newfound sense of responsibility, he bravely descends into the sewers, a realm teeming with mutants, to retrieve Leela’s cherished companion.
