This revival of Futurama isn’t working for me, and I honestly hope they reconsider bringing it back. The quality of the writing has become really uneven; some installments aren't just lacking in humor, they’re downright tedious, like episodes nine and ten of the latest season. I feel like I need to repeat myself—any show lives or dies based on its narratives. That’s a fundamental truth that can’t be ignored.

This program is genuinely amusing and clever; the humor lands well because it feels familiar. It's definitely more enjoyable when you’re watching alongside people you care about.
