Synopsis

The afternoon sun cast long shadows across the meadow as Barnaby adjusted his spectacles, peering at the figure emerging from the trees. He carried an axe, not with casual familiarity, but with a weight of purpose that sent a shiver down Barnaby’s spine. This was Thorvald, a Viking, and he had stumbled into their quiet world quite by
