Synopsis

With the recent increase in rent, Nobita's parents are forced to tighten their belts. Desperate for a solution, Nobita and Doraemon devise a plan: to trigger an underwater volcanic eruption, harnessing the resulting lava to create a private island, free from the burden of rent. The scheme succeeds, but word of the miraculous island spreads quickly, and soon everyone desires a share. Ultimately, however, the government intervenes and claims the island for itself.
