In Fukushima's Yoru no Mori district, famed for its cherry blossoms, venerable trees trace a 2.4-kilometer path. Though the nuclear accident deterred visitors, the area briefly awakens with life each spring as former residents return. This year’s bloom holds a particular significance. An evacuation order was lifted in April for a section of the "cherry blossom tunnel." While some are returning to the village to rebuild their lives alongside the flowering trees, eighty percent of the tunnel remai
