With Harry Saxon's ascension to Prime Minister, a reign of terror commences – though this is merely the overture to his grander designs. He announces humanity’s first encounter with the Toclafane, an alien race, and with this revelation, an audacious plan unfolds, encompassing all of time and space. It tightens around Earth in the penultimate episode of Russell T Davies’s *Doctor Who*.
