Kurata remains very much alive within Belphemon, orchestrating a plan to siphon all the city's electrical power to tear open a rift in space. Thomas warns that Kurata intends to destroy both the human and digital worlds. Despair threatens the DATS, but Marcus’ words reignite their resolve: regardless of their origins, they are the DATS team, bound by the shared purpose of protecting those they cherish. This realization sparks a miraculous digivolution in Marcus and ShineGreymon, unlocking Burst
