Synopsis
The Sugarbaker women employed Anthony as an attractive companion, hoping to secure a lucrative contract with a hotelier. The key was his charm—and the attention of his date, the hotelier’s extravagant daughter, who was herself maneuvering for a substantial business arrangement. Just as their strategy seemed poised to succeed, Anthony declared his engagement to Vanessa, who had designs on becoming a partner at Sugarbakers.
