Quentin charged Barnabas with being the same being spoken of in whispers from another world, but Barnabas denied the assertion. Angelique, masquerading as Alexis, urged Quentin to endeavor to restore Maggie to Collinwood. Daniel recognized Barnabas, who then employed his power to erase the memory. Meanwhile, Angelique wove a spell upon Quentin, compelling him to seek Maggie’s return to Collinwood, though the enchantment twisted, and he began to pursue Angelique instead.
