Synopsis

Paul Stoddard converses with Carolyn, offering an explanation for his two-decade absence. The Todds are tending to a peculiar newborn. David observes their conversation and, misinterpreting the scene, assumes a romantic connection between them. Driven by this mistaken impression, he pilfers the Leviathan book from the Todds' antique shop. The Todds resolve to locate and eliminate the individual responsible for its theft.
