Synopsis

Barnabas drew the trembling Trask to the decaying Old House, and there, through veiled threats and relentless pressure, compelled him to sign a confession of perjury concerning Victoria’s trial. Then, as a final, bitter act of revenge, Barnabas sealed Trask within the Old House cellar, bricking him in.
