Synopsis

Consumed by sorrow over Barnabas’ death and fueled by a misguided rage, Josette declared to Victoria Winters that she would devote every effort to ensuring Miss Winters’ execution for witchcraft. Apprehensive that the Collins Family History, potentially incriminating, might be used against her in the upcoming trial, she persuaded Peter Bradford to grant her leave from her cell. Her purpose was to retrieve the book from Josette's bedroom.
