Synopsis

Reverend Trask observed an unfamiliar mark upon Josette’s hand, a detail that stirred within him a disquieting suspicion of witchcraft. Yet, amidst the turmoil that had consumed them all, Barnabas reaffirmed to Angelique his enduring devotion—a love reserved solely for Josette. In response, Angelique conceived a clandestine scheme to inflict pain upon Barnabas, employing his sister, Sarah, as the instrument of her vengeance.
