Synopsis

Julia managed to convince Barnabas to show mercy to Maggie, asserting that the woman had penned a letter to the authorities – a letter, she insisted to Willie, that never existed. Unbeknownst to them, officers had fired upon an intruder who had attempted to enter Maggie’s chamber.
