Synopsis

The sound of Elizabeth’s weeping reached Victoria, and she turned to find her, a storm of distress etched on her face. "Elizabeth," Victoria said, her voice firm but laced with concern, "tell me what's happened." Elizabeth, near to collapse, confessed in a broken voice. She spoke of Paul, of a terrible deed, and of a knowledge held by Jason that threatened to unravel everything. The words tumbled out, raw and desperate, painting a picture of a secret she could no longer bear alone.
