Synopsis

A restless energy clung to Maggie, a lingering weariness from the previous night. Despite her weakness, she insisted on going to work. In the coffee shop, she succumbed to a faint. As evening deepened, Maggie began to feel a measure of recovery. Meanwhile, Sam labored over Barnabas’ portrait; later, Barnabas himself slipped out for a moment, drawn to visit Maggie.
