Synopsis

Victoria visited the Old House and discovered Willie now served Barnabas. The young man seemed keen for her to depart. Barnabas commissioned Sam Evans to paint his portrait, stipulating that the work be done exclusively under the cover of night. Sam labored through the hours, brushstrokes blurring as dawn approached, but when the first light touched the windows, Barnabas had vanished.
