Synopsis

Leticia cut off Gabriel mid-action, preventing him from harming Gerard. Gerard visited Quentin in prison, offering reassurance that their friendship remained unbroken. Daphne received another missive from Joanna, and a chilling certainty settled upon her: Joanna wished her dead. Meanwhile, Gerard laid a snare; he waited in ambush for anyone who dared to enter Daphne’s room with murderous intent.
