Synopsis

Julia and Barnabas discovered Carolyn in a state bordering on madness, utterly refusing to respond to their inquiries. Julia sought out the records office, where a clerk offered a suspiciously convenient explanation: all documents pertaining to the Collins family had been destroyed.
