Synopsis

Consumed by guilt, Matthew confessed the murder to a bewildered Elizabeth, then fled the scene. A police manhunt ensued, leading them to the secluded Old House where he had taken refuge. Meanwhile, Victoria sought reconciliation with Roger, offering a sincere apology for her earlier, unfounded accusation.
