Synopsis

The competition celebrated the humble sandwich in all its forms. Four chefs faced a series of challenges, beginning with appetizer creations featuring beef brisket. But when errors were made, only the most inventive would proceed. Next, they had to craft entrees from pork shoulder and pâté. Finally, the finalists tackled dessert sandwiches, experimenting with Thai curry paste and chocolate-covered espresso beans.
