Synopsis
Shin recounted his history with Rive, beginning with their time together on Team Nippon alongside Mark Whiting. Rive was their mentor, and together they achieved victory in the national Vanguard tournament, earning an invitation to the world championship. During that period, Rive also spent time with Ryuzu, a circumstance Shin found troubling, as it seemed to detract from their training. One day, Shin challenged Ryuzu to a cardfight; should Shin prevail, Ryuzu would be forbidden from seeing Rive
