Synopsis

On his journey to the Dragon Empire branch, Kamui encountered Chrono and invited him to accompany him. Upon arrival, Chrono learned of a vanguard competition, a rare opportunity for a fortunate participant to battle Mamoru Anjou, leader of the Kagero clan. As Chrono registered for the event, he met Vangoro, the Vanguard Association's mascot, who, upon discovering Chrono’s use of Gear Chronicle, immediately requested a cardfight.
