Max invites singer Zoey Monroe to his home, envisioning a boost for his songwriting aspirations. Though initially consumed by jealousy, Kat finds herself developing a fondness for the guest. Meanwhile, a plumbing mishap by Carter in the kitchen leads to a flood, and he and Randi seek refuge at Sheila's, where they enjoy each other's company immensely.
