Synopsis

Fragments of earth – dirt, sand, and rock – are constantly swept, carved, broken, consumed, and dispersed across the globe. A hill that exists today may be a level plain tomorrow. The planet’s appearance is vastly different from its state when it first coalesced four and a half billion years ago. The relentless process of erosion, the gradual wearing down of the land, has never paused.
